As a guest of Maison de Sas we will take good care of you. Sas (the name Sas is short for Saskia) loves typical Dutch “gezelligheid” (best translated as ‘cosiness’) and loves being the perfect host. Sas will do anything to make her guests feel at home and offer them a complete and fully organized stay.

Sas is a nature lover who enjoys all aspects of life and can advise you about all the beautiful places and area’s in and around the village of Laren. Sas was born in Greece and at age 6 moved with her parents to Laren. After having finished primary and secondary school in Holland, Sas wanted to travel to see more of the world. First the USA and (French speaking part of) Switzerland where she graduated from the Hotel Management School. To improve her language skills even more, she moved to Munich, Barcelona and then Amsterdam. Sas speaks Dutch, English, German, French and basic Spanish.

When Sas lived in Amsterdam, she worked as a KLM stewardess on intercontinental flights. At the age of 27 she moved back to Lausanne in Switzerland to work as a Facility Manager organizing big events and conferences for multinational companies. In the mean time she also raised a family of two beautiful daughters; Helena and Carolina. In 2017 Sas moved back to beautiful Laren where she worked as a caregiver. She also fulfilled a childhood dream of opening and running her own premium Short Stay location, called ‘Maison de Sas’ (Saskia’s Cottage).
